Introduction
These are the Terms upon which we accept internet bookings on this website. It is important that you read and understand these Terms before making your booking. By making your booking on this website, you accept to be bound by these Terms. These Terms also set out the rules you must follow when parking your truck or vehicle in the area.
Definitions and Interpretations
In these Terms, the following words or phrases have the following meanings unless inconsistent with the context:
• ‘Booking’ means the booking made by you on this website to use Drivers First parking facilities.
• ‘Booking Period’ refers to periods of 1 hour, 3 hours, or one day.
• ‘Day’ refers to a 24-hour period.
• ‘We,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’ refers to Drivers First.
• ‘You’ or ‘your’ means any person who makes a booking or (where applicable) uses any of the parking facilities on-site.
Booking Requirements
You must read and confirm on this website that you have read these Terms before we accept your booking. You will be bound by the Terms once you receive the booking confirmation by email. We only accept bookings for trucks. When making your booking, you must provide the vehicle’s registration number. Your booking is only valid for the vehicle with the registration number you specified during booking.
Payment
We accept cash (SEK or Euro) or card payments through Visa and Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Maestro, Cartes Bancaires, and UnionPay. If booking online, we only accept invoices from companies with an account.
Cancelling Your Booking
You must cancel your booking before the start time to avoid extra fees. No refunds will be issued if the booking is not used.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations under these terms if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or pandemics.
Limitation of Liability and Security Issues
Drivers First is not responsible for damages to or loss of vehicles, equipment, or cargo except in cases where negligence can be demonstrated on the part of our staff or facilities.
Code of Conduct
To ensure safety and order within the parking area, all drivers must adhere to our code of conduct. In case of violation of these rules or any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, we reserve the right to immediately remove the driver and/or vehicle from the area without refund of the booking fee.
Customer Responsibility and Liability
As a user of our parking facilities, you agree to comply with our rules and show care for all equipment and property on-site. You are responsible for any damage caused to our property, including but not limited to barriers, fences, security cameras, lighting, and markings, as well as damage to other parked vehicles or facilities. If damage occurs as a direct or indirect result of your or your vehicle’s actions, you agree to compensate Drivers First for the costs of repair or restoration of the damaged property. Drivers First will provide a detailed cost specification for such repairs, and payment must be made within 30 days from the invoice date. In cases of intentional damage or recurring negligence, we reserve the right to deny you future bookings and take legal action if deemed necessary.
CCTV Surveillance
To ensure safety within the parking area, the area is under CCTV surveillance.
